Accessibility
The Enagás Website is committed to guaranteeing accessibility of its content to all users, independent of their physical, cognitive or technological abilities.
Our Website has been created based on the content accessibility guidelines provided by the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative), an organisation created by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) to inform, investigate and foster the work of Web accessibility.
The WAI has established three levels of accessibility: "A", double "AA" and triple "AAA", where each level attains compliance with certain determined guidelines or principles.
Enagás's web has managed to satisfy the requirements of accessibility of the double “AA” level. This certification is not applicable in:
- The page “Capacity Reservation Request”
- Multimedia, pdf and excel documents
At present, Enagás continues working in supporting the double "AA" level and in incorporating criteria of accessibility in the constant developments of the web.
With the objective of assuring these levels of compliance with accessibility criteria, it has gone through the approval process with the TAW (Web Accessibility Test) to approve all Web pages. For compliance with intellectual accessibility, it has followed the NI4 protocol, which is based on the standardisation, investigation, integration, intercommunication and interactivity of the pages.
The functionalities specified below have been incorporated in this Website with the objective of facilitating its access by disabled persons:
Navigation shortcuts
The tab key permits jumping directly, in logical order, to the most essential links found on each page.
Access Keys
Certain content can be accessed directly by using a simple key combination (ALT + access key in Internet Explorer on Windows or Control + access key in Macintosh). The Enter key will activate the selected link.

We have contrasted the combinations of fonts and backgrounds on the Website to assure that the information is presented clearly and independently of said conditions.
Font Sizes
This Website gives the user complete control over the font sizes that are applied to its content. They can be modified from the View menu in your browser.
Style Sheets
This Website makes use of Cascading Style Sheets for the visual presentation of its contents. Nonetheless, structural "tags" are used in its code to permit viewing and easily understanding said content in those cases when the browser does not accept Cascading Style Sheets.
Forms
All form fields follow a logical tab order. Tags have been associated with all fields to facilitate understanding the data requested in each case.
JavaScript
This Website can be viewed, navigated and used perfectly without the need to use JavaScript.
